Haiti
Wow, Haiti is destroyed. I cannot believe what I have been seeing on TV. So many dead, so many homeless. I saw that their palace is flattened. But I did find it interesting that the US embassy is still standing with no apparent damage. I guess sometimes its all about using good materials and following building standards. Anyway, I bet the place is overrun with construction heavy equipment and will be for a very long time. First there is the cleanup and demolition of all the buildings that are now done for, And then, I am sure there will be massive rebuilding efforts. I hope the best for all of those poor souls.
