I am writing a book and using clipart that I find on the computer. Do I have to get permission to use it?

If I get the book published will I have to get permission to use the clipart from different websites?

Yes you will need permission, if you are profiting from someones work that is stealing, unless you have bought the rights for the images or the images are free for commercial use. not free to use.

    i seriously dont recommend clip art…. if you can get somebody or yourself to draw some pictures that would be good…. and where suitable maybe put some of your own photographs (not with you in it but like the scenery or whatever you need)… and like the others said cite your sources if you do take things elsewhere. …. read through their copyright policy…
