how can i remove a clipart image from its white background ?

dont want the white background haow can i get rid of it ?

    I don’t know what type of graphic software you have, but if you have adobe photo-shop, you can use that to remove the background with the background eraser tool. Hope this helps.

    With a photo edit program (such as Photoshop) you can either eliminate the background or cut the foreground image out and paste in on something else.

    I use Paint Shop Pro, this is what I do (maybe you can implement it into your software):

    Click the eyedropper looking button and then click on the background of the clipart. I then go to "Colors" then "Set Palette Transparency" and click OK until I see the background color in a little box. I select that box to let the software know that is the color I want transparent. After a few OK clicks you will be able to "Copy" the clipart then "Paste as a Transparent Image"

    I hope yo can decipher my mess, I’m not a very good teacher :)

    Save the file as a bitmap (.bmp I think) This should work. Either that or use the magic brush on photoshop.
