Can one work on files and folders from within a flash drive?

Monday, November 9th, 2009

That is, a) are they like minature hard drives where one could reorganise, rename and generally continue with projects stored on the flash drive by doing it on the flash drive itself, or b) would I have to download to PC from it, do whatever I have to do, then reload back to the flash drive?

Would be great if anyone could recommend one or two brands. Thanks.

use it just like a hard drive, move rename what ever you like

How to turn camera flash off in nokia e63?

Friday, November 6th, 2009

I recently purchased nokia e63 phone. The flash light of camera does not switch off when i chose the option "turn flash light off"; It continues to light whenever i click the picture.

I also have a nokia e63 myself.. the flash of its camera CANNOT be turned off (when taking a picture/video). When you choose the option "turn flash off", it only lessens the flash, not totally turning it off… I hope this helped.

What lense and flash accessory would you suggest for a Canon Rebel XT for indoor sports shots?

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

I want to take better quality pictures with a better zoom and where I won’t have so many blurry pictures. What lens do you suggest and what extra flash accessory can I use on the Rebel XT? Thanks.

A flash will be all but useless except for post-game pictures of the players.

For what you want you’ll need the fastest zoom you can buy. A high ISO will also be needed if you want to stop action. Have your camera in Shutter Preferred Mode.

Indoor sports that are floodlit :

ISO 800
f2.8 @ 1/125

ISO 1600
f2.8 @ 1/250

ISO 3200
f2.8 @ 1/500

Yes, your images at 1600 and 3200 will be noisy but you can clean them up with a program like Noise Ninja.

Canon offers two - the EF 70-200mm f2.8L IS USM or the EF 70-200 f2.8L USM. Obviously, the one with IS (Image Stabilization) will help with possible camera movement. IS will not help with subject movement that requires a fast shutter speed.

Tamron also offers the SP AF70-200mm f2.8 Di LD (IF). You can read reviews of the Canon and Tamron lenses and decide which to buy.

What version of flash suitable for making games?

Monday, October 26th, 2009

What version you suggest in developing games? I only have a basic knowledge in flash. I’m planning to develop a game as a part of our thesis.

Its a "Snake" game similar to "SnakeEX2" found in some nokia phones. So what could be the software and version do you suggest in developing this type of game?

Hi,

I recommend that you use Adobe Flash CS3 Professional and utilize ActionScript 2.0.

There are plenty of flash tutorials about making games. For instance you can download some samples with source from the Adobe’s Flash site.

Greetings

How do I use my flash drive to get a game onto the school computer?

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

My school doesn’t let us download games onto their computers, but If I have a flash drive, how can I get the game from my desktop at home to work on the school computer? Is it as simple as just clicking and dragging? I’ve definitely seen people playing games from their flash drives. Thanks for any help.

If it’s legal you can get a librarian to assist you.

LOL.

How do I get Adobe Flash Player on my computer?

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

Everytime I try to download Adobe Flash Player, the download will go pretty well, but then after everything is complete, it will say "Failed to register" and then nothing would have changed. What should I do? I have already tried uninstalling older versions of the program.

I have had this problem myself. Ended up using a registry fix program (Registry Booster 2) then flash player would install correctly.

Hope this helps

I made a flash animation on adobe flash cs3 and i want to know if it possible to import that flash to windows movie maker? If not do you know any program like WMM that supports flash.

Okey, i see, you must need one converter do that:)

You can use Moyea FLV to Video Converter to convert flv to wmv, mp4, avi, mov and other popular formats, and it can help u with editing ur videos as follow:
1. Add logos or text as watermark for the generated video files
2. Set framerate, bitrate of the output video size & audio’s frequency
3. Crop an area of the video to convert.
4. Convert a lot of files at once.
5. It can auto-rename, overwrite or skip output file if exists.
6. Access source FLV details for reference when settings parameters.

Have a free trial of it on
