I am starting a new company and have created a logo using the grid lines in Excel. I’m running Windows Vista (I kinda like it!) and don’t have any graphic-type program. I tried the paint program, but there’s no ability to word with a grid so I couldn’t get it perfect. Help!

As you do not have a graphic program to hand then one way around your issue would be to do the following:

1. Open the image in Excel or Word.

2. Press CTRL and ALT and Print Screen buttons together to capture an image of the active window (in this case your Excel or Word window)

3. Now open Paint and paste the screen capture into it

4. Now edit image as you want it, then in Paint’s toolbar at top select File | Save As and choose jpeg from drop down menu.

Go to Microsoftoffice.com and search on clipart, templates or watermarks they will let you download lots of free stuff. Also check what you have in your Microsoft word software under the Insert directory, and go to Picture and then clipart, there is already lots of clip art in there.

I am scrapbooking and would like some neat stickers or clipart for a haunted mansion page..i have seen a picture of mickey and goofy in a doom buggy but can not find it again…Also i have seen one with cruella and maleficent in a doom buggy.Can anyone help me???

You might be having difficulty because you are misspelling dune buggy. I dont’t have a link for you, but if you spell it the way I just did, it might be easier.

I have a Singer Quantum Futura CE-200 sewing machine & I need to find clipart of lilies of the valley that are preferably .hus, .xxx, .exp, .pcs type files to name a few. I am making a quilt & want to embroider these flowers on some of the blocks.

Dover Books are wonderful for this sort of thing. They have many books of old images, free clip art, things that are in the public domain so that you can use them freely.

Recently they’ve been putting out some of their collections on books with CDs with the art in several different file types.

I have a bunch of their books, they really are a great resource. Most major bookstores will carry their books, but just in case, here is their direct website. Have fun!
