How hard is it to get a job as a pixar animator?
im 14 at the moment but going to college very soon. brilliant at computer animation and i really want to get a job as an animator at pixar studios, i live in england so it wont be my first job but i will buy i greenhouse card to live in america. how hard is it to apply if your fitted for the job?

Very nice goal. I’m sure you’ll reach it. Don’t look at how hard it is to get in. Look at the competition you have to go against to get in. You are 14 and as you said, you are brilliant at computer animation. Look towards the competition as "these guys are easy, I can beat them". With that attitude in your mind you will easily fight against the masses.
Whatever you do do not drop out of college for it though. Go into computer graphics and take masters in it, preferably at a well known college. (doesn’t have to be as after you have some work experience people will look at your work rather than your college.) Pixar won’t, however hire you if you don’t have proper education in the area.
