    i was one of the first people who saw this animation. It was in 2001, my brother has showed it to me(he got it from one of Baginsky’s friends).That was amazing. I will never forget it.

    i’ve saw this in 3 differently way of spirit. stoned / drunked / super concious. 3 different conclusion i’ve sucked from this masterpiece but all are based on same bedrock: ” Faith is formed spiritualya and material way , buy human beings! if u see, the character is super concious of his destiny ( that of continuing ” the cathedral ” ) and that little smile from 2:10 can sustain my opion.

    Sorry, I think you are wrong. The man clearly has given his life the the Cathederal, or whatever it stands for. At the time of his death he has chosen to become forever the part of the Cathederal he has labored his life for. We know this because the other “pillars” of the Cathederal appear aware, at rest, and in almost monastic silence…

    They light disclosured the truth - All ppl that entered the cathedral at night are slaves and they suffer for they curiosity. Cathedral is evil - beautyful as long as it’s covered by darkness and hidden. In light of day you can see the horror he’s been pulled by.

    Wrong. That is not the art that will inspire next generations… nor walk through ages or whatever… This is pretty simple. The guy with staff is just another fool that was tempted by cathedral and punished for entering at night. He’s just one of many that was pulled by cathedral and became it’s part forever. It’s a metaphore to ppl pulled into evil of publicity, commercial and advetrise - they were blind and didn’t see evil while entering - now they are all slaves - part of evil they entered.
