How do I animate an image in adobe photoshop cs3?

I need to animate a regular JPEG image. I used to do it in ImageReady but now I hear that the tools available in imageready can now be found in Photoshop.

So how do I use these tools and create different frames to make an animated image?

♦ Put each frame of your video on a separate layer
♦ Window > Animation to open the Animation Palette
♦ Click the tiny trinangle in at the top right of the pallette
♦ Select Make Frames from Layers
♦ Set looping option
♦ Choose File > Export > Render Video
